My Day... A Poopy Very Poopy Day!

My morning started out great, I woke up late, About 8:30, to the sounds of Hayden talking in his bed. I picked Hayden up, with his special blanket (the one that I call Silky) and brought him to my room to lay down. I read him a story and relaxed with him. by 9 am he was running all over my room. He had cheerios and milk for breakfast, the same thing he gets every morning. While watching a movie on my computer.

Now do not read this if you have a light stomach, are not a mother, or really hate poop!
by 10:30 am Hayden was running around the living room, It was raining outside so our 4 month old puppy Saige was running around the living room as well. While doing the dishes I heard a loud Scream.... I turned around to see my poor son holding onto the coffee table squatting and screaming. This is obvious to all mothers, He was having troubles pooping. I grabbed him at once, His tear filled face showed pain, Laying him on some towels in the bathroom while he continued his screaming and pushing. I started the shower, stripped him down and tried to warm him up in the shower, (Not knowing whether I was making things better or worse) When he seemed worse off I pulled him out and lay him back down on the towels, He kicked and screamed louder, the poop that he was trying to get out was "Crowning" I probably spent 15 minutes helping him get this poop out, Rubbing his belly, and when it was out enough, I had to pull it out with wipes. Now being a mother, not once did I gag, All I could think about was how much pain he was in. Once that Poop came out, he started crying softer, I wrapped him in a towel and rocked him in my arms, his cries turned into random sobs, and the random sobs finally stopped. When i walked out of the bathroom I knew what I would find. I had left Saige loose in the house. There was a poop waiting for me in the living room on the floor, And a puddle right beside it. "what a morning" I said to Hayden Shaking My head.
Hayden seemed sleepy and was cuddled in my arms, I grabbed his silky and he went right to sleep. I put him in his bed, and cleaned my floors. Saige went outside.
Now that All is said and done, I took a deep breath, and sighed my relief.

1:00 pm
Hayden Had been sleeping for a while, I decided it was best to wake him up to go to the Early Years Center, I have to get him out of the house. We took a long time to get out, But finally did.
I took him for lunch at A&W, He really loves the french fries there. When we arrived at the Early Years Center, Hayden acted really shy, He walked in and sat at the table by the entrance, there was a cute little girl, most likely around two years of age, She seemed a little older than Hayden anyways, she kept coming up to Hayden bringing him toys Hayden did not want anything to do with her. (I think he misses Livia, his little female friend) After we were given a tour of the Early Years Center by a very nice young girl, Hayden started to come out of his little shell... He played on the fire truck for a while and then found a lawn mower to push around. He started to have a lot of fun. I was glad that we went, And we will be going there again. I would have stayed longer but a missing diaper bag(Left at home) made us retire sooner than I would have liked.

We arrived home at around 3:00, As we pulled in the Driveway, Matthew pulled in behind us. Matthew played with Hayden for a while, Until he seemed to tired to play anymore (Hayden not Matthew) Hayden went for a nap, And Matthew and I played battleship online, I beat him 2-1, As usual, :)

Hayden woke up shortly after and we went for Ice-cream... Now This mother, who happens to be a photographer, Had two dead batteries for the camera so there will be no pictures.

We got to the Ice-cream parlor, And for the second time today I had left the Diaper bag at home. Hayden peed through his diaper all over his shorts.... we had to leave to rush home, The poor little monkey wanted ice-cream so bad, he cried for a little while, but was over it by the time we got back to the truck.
I changed him quickly at home, and a very generous Matthew took us back to the ice-cream parlor. Sitting in the booth a really excited Hayden sneezed and hit his lip on the table, He cried for a second, then licked the blood from his lip going MMMMmmm... My little monkey, Matthew returned with a little cone of ice-cream for Hayden. Hayden grasped the cone with all his might, and with each lick the light in his eyes grew brighter. Matthew and I noticed that the cone was flopping to one side, Matthew reached in to fix it (Now we have been here before, And we should have known better) Matthew slowly tried turning the cone around.... And that was the end of that.... Hayden Screamed and let go of his cone, Matthew tried giving it back to him, but his temper was too much, Hayden grabbed the cone, and threw it to the floor... a very embarrassed Matthew and I tried our best to fix the situation, I shoved a spoon of my banana split in his mouth, while he sobbed, And Matthew cleaned the floor with napkins. After 5 or six spoonfuls of banana split, Hayden was alright. He went and sat on Matthews lap, and ate Poutine with a fork, Practically stabbing his face with each bite, But he loves his fries.
When it came time to leave, Hayden seemed sad again and sobbed a little.

Now we are home, Hayden is in his playpen, and Matthew and I are enjoying the silence...

So Here is to a day when all you want is a glass of wine... (But you can't have it because you are 7 months pregnant)

I cannot wait to see what tomorrow will Bring for us.
